Mark C. Evers

Musician, Worship Leader, Clinician, Speaker

Music Ministry Coach, Choir Director

Mark Evers, son of a Pastor hails from New York City.  He started taking piano lessons in his early years from neighborhood teachers without the use of a personal home  piano.  Being very active in the church, he sang in the children’s choir and later became the director of the teenage choir at the age of 12.
Mark attended Northwestern University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.  As a sophomore he became the Director of Northwestern’s Community Ensemble and also played the piano for many neighboring churches.

Since graduation from college, Mark has resided in many states from the Midwest to the East coast because of his employment as an engineer.  He has served as Minister of Music in many local churches until coming to Glad Tidings Assembly of God of West Lawn, PA in 2003 where he now serves as the band director.  Mark continues to serve in the community where he started his music business – “David’s House”.  Through this ministry, he assists Pastors, Ministers of Music, Worship Teams and Choirs in the development of their music ministry from a Biblical based perspective along with added tools to grow their music department from a practical standpoint.

Mark also serves as President of Doxa Publishing, where he helps musicians and psalmists demo and copyright their music for artist performance opportunities.

Mark’s passion is playing the Hammond B3 organ and has 4 teachers that he frequently studies with.  Although Mark has music students of his own, his motto is “Always be a student of the Art”.  Mark has a Master’s Certificate from Berklee’s online Music School in Theory, Harmony and Ear Training as well as his ACC (Associate Certified Coach) credentials.
